Birthplace: Santiago, Chile Short biography: When Tom was 4 his family had to flee in the United States because of political unrest in his country.He has a brother John who used to play in the band Bloodcum with Jeff's brother. Tom is very fascinated with serial killers and he has been writting about Ed Gein and Jeffrey Dahmer. He jokes a lot and there is not even one interview where he doesn't laugh. Before starting playing in Slayer, he worked in a hospital. Tom did know Kerry before Slayer. They played together in a band but Tom was kicked out of the band, and Kerry left the band after him. Tom was invited in Slayer by Jeff. In Slayer most of lyrics are written by Tom, but not the music. Sometimes some songs that Tom writes are about serial killers, and when he does that other guys say he changes a lot. In 1996 in May Tom became a father to a little girl. Se says that that won't affect Slayer in any way.

At first he got together with Jeff and then they met Dave Lombardo, the drummer. During some concerts of Megateth Kerry helped them because they had some problems with guitarist. Kerry's hobbies arebreeding snakes and show-dogs. Kerry is not a man who is affraid to say something and he proved that in an interview with Kerrang when he said that Kirk Hammet was the most overrated player ever on the pages of guitar magazine. After that Kerrang received many letters from readers about that and since then relationship between Slayer and Metallica has not been the best. Kerry King and Lars Ulrich have been described as the most influencial persons in heavy/trash metal, because they started Metallica and Slayer, and these bands influenced tons of other bands. The entire trash generation was built on Show no Mercy and Kill 'em All. Kerry is a big fan of hockey and football, and when performing he usually wears a sport shirt. He was married in 1990 but was divorced later. He has a child and lives in Phoenix.
Full name: Jeff Hanneman Instrument: Guitar Birthday: 19th August 1964. Birthplace: Oakland Short biography: Probably the most known trash song ever, Angel of Death, was written by Jeff Hanneman. He found inspiration in his hoby. He colects german/nazi medals since '44 when his father asked him (his father fought in Normandy) if he wants a medal. Jeff accepted and asked if he could have another one. Since then he is collecting and now has a collection that is not too big, but big enough. He begun to buy medals from dealers, learned to discover the real one from the fakes. Jeff has a brother Joey. Joey started a band Bloodcum with Tom's brother John, but the band didn't make it. Their record "Death by Clothes Hanger" was very bad. Jeff looks very Scandinavian, blond hair, blue eyes and is very tall. He like jokes and laugs very much like Tom and Kerry. Jeff is interested in ice hockey and sometimes wears a hockey shirt. He hates basketball, but he likes drinking beer-Heinken.
Full name: Paul Bostaph Instrument: Drums Birthday: 26th March 1964h Birthplace: San Francisco Short biography: In the '80 Paul played with trash band Forbidden, and did with them 2 records. After that he left Forbidden and was told by one friend that Slayer are looking for a drummer. He has allways been a great fan of Slayer so when Kerry offered him to play he momentaly accepted. After that he was given a list of 9 songs of Slayer and 12 days time to learn them. After that it was audition and he passed. He even did a song thas was not on the list-Silent Scream, a hard song to play on drums. He said that the hardest song to him was Angel of Death. In 1992 when Paul was still in Slayer he was invited by Testament to do a show with them. He accepted so he was on the Testament live album "Return To The Apocalyptic City". After the large Monsters of Rock Slayer guys were very pleased by Paul. Like the rest of band Paul also likes sports, but he plays soccer in his spare time in a team in San Francisco. He learned playing drums listening heavy records, mostly Iron Maiden.
